Is there a reason for using the CVS one? Or just because you've been
playing with it?

I think this sounds good. Other modules in commons-sandbox would be bad I
think. Going to sourceforge, codehaus, java.net or something is another
option for the modules, a la maven plugins etc. Making that decision later
on seems the best option.
