I've added Mladen to the list with karma.I don't think this is something that root needs to worry about. It just needs a change to the cvs avail file, which some Commons committers have access to change. I'm not sure exactly who they are, but they usually pipe up when a request like this is made and make it so.
It's also not something that needs voting for, any Jakarta/ASF committer may request access to the Commons.
Could be wrong though :) Have removed root from the cc and just kept
Sander in the loop.
For Sander's info, commons-daemon was originally in jakarta-commons-sandbox (where any Jakarta committer can create packages and try to gather a community, sort of a mini-incubator thing). It graduated to jakarta-commons (different repository with different committer list) but nobody gathered the list of committers who were working on it to ask for karma. So we've been doing it piecemeal.
