After a long time talking about doing it, a release canidate for
Commons/Net is now available. The Commons/Net site,
http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/net/, has a download page containing
a link to the rc1 version and release notes.
Barring any showstoppers, after one week we'll call a vote, on the -dev
list, for a release.
