A lot has happened in DbUtils recently so here's a quick status update: The API has been cleaned up. I added a Proxy based solution to the JDBC API incompatibilities. We need to validate that this works the way we want.
We have pretty good test coverage The Maven build is successfully running The website is up at: http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/sandbox/dbutils/index.html So, I'm going to start using DbUtils in some of my database apps to give it some real world testing. It would be nice if others did this as well. A test build is available at: http://jakarta.apache.org/~dgraham/commons-dbutils-1.0-dev.jar I think we're pretty close to being able to move into Commons proper.
