[all] how does website generation work?

the build.xml script in the base of the jakarta-commons directory no 
longer runs now that all of the documentation sources have been moved 
into commons-build. what's the new plan for generating the web site?

this is actually quite a pressing issue since there's a new 
commons-logging release upcoming very soon and i need to be able to 
switch to the mavenized site before then.
