I'm all for it.. As part of this, should the docs on how to cut a release
etc be updated to use Maven versus Ant?
it's only the site generation that's (probably) going to be generated using maven. components will still be able to use ant as their main build and release tool.
instructions about how to cut a release using maven would be a useful addition, though.
