Ahem, "fixing" these components, "broke" others, [codec], [lang] are the ones I work on. So the situation is not any better IMO.
How about an announcement with instructions describing this important change instead of getting the carpet pulled from under us? :-(
What am I supposed to do get projects ([codec], [lang]) to build like they used to? Some instructions would be nice: "To get things to build the way they used to, add this and that to this.xml etc".
Thank you,
Gary

The <build> element in commons-build project.xml was breaking some components so it was removed. It looks like today the <reports> stuff
was
also removed so each project needs to choose the reports they want generated. IMO, both changes are for the best.

Hello,
Over the last couple of days, changes to commons-build caused a
whole
bunch of things to stop being generated in, for example, [codec], no unit tests, no clover, no javadoc, etc.
Is each project supposed to specify this now?
I am on Maven RC2.
