http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33001 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-01-14 12:54 ------- Re patch for addressbook example: I'm not keen to apply this in its current form, as it removes the current demonstration of how to pass an element's body text to a target method (name element's body -> setName method). And in general I'm not sure it's good form to use set-nested-properties for classes where some of the child elements are not properties, even though the "allowUnknownChildElements" flag can be used to make this possible. It certainly wasn't what I expected this rule to be used for when I wrote it! Maybe for classes where there are *lots* of child elements mapping to properties it makes sense, but in this case there is only one property! It would be nice to have an example of set-nested-properties somewhere though; perhaps you could think of some way to extend the existing example, or come up with a separate example?
