Hi Dion, I think that Discovery is probably more than beta quality , seeing as how long it has been around, and the relative paucity of open bugs filed against it. However, this release is just a snapshot of HEAD, that fixes some bugs (and it's an explicit favour to a couple of people who are uncomfortable with using untagged CVS releases). The suggestion was to make an updated release. The original creators of Discovery are no longer actively maintaining the project, so I wouldn't feel qualified to mark it as a 1.0 release. We thought that 0.3 would be a good compromise.
