Your summary and your text say it's hanging at listFiles() but your code snippet says listNames(). Not that either one should hang, but let's get the facts straight first, okay? While we're assembling facts, can you log into the same FTP server and list the files there? It's not a huge directory, is it? What is the server type? Unix? or something else? Anything else you can tell me about the server?
