Committed. Many thanks especially for the documentation patch :) Didn't read your last comment before committing the EOL patch (slightly amended). Tests ran fine on my linux box so suspect that it's a windows only issue. I would only expect the pretty print tests to fail. (Anything else needs to be addressed at the test framework level.) I've added some blind fixes so please let me know if they work or not. Once the unit tests work correct, I'll let you close this issue.
