http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=36397 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-08-30 05:30 ------- After reading your comments I tend to agree that the directive approach is like killing a fly with a hammer and there should be a simpler solution. The subset approach certainly works and I would take it a little bit further by not requiring any special handling from the code loading the properties. How about supporting recursive property references? db=postgres postgres.hibernate.dialect = net.sf.hibernate.dialect.PostgreSQLDialect hibernate.dialect=${${db}.hibernate.dialect} I think this would be a little bit cleaner because all the information is in the property file. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
