Also, the reason I mentioned it was because at the time I did not look at your source code and since it failed for every jre BeanUtils was the one common factor. Since then I did look at your source and did some moer testing to arrive at an solution. This is a technical issue because when you try to instantiate a class where the class name was read from Property Descriptor it would fail. I did develop my own workaround so I could still use BeanUtils. If someone did not "complain" as you mentioned it and only pointed fingers at others it would not help anyone. Yes, you can be the good people and provide a workaround (striping off the [L makes the creating instances work) or ask sun to provide a fix and someday I am sure it will be fixed. It's hard to be the nice person and provide fixes or you can do the easy thing and point fingers.
