Maybe split the machine dependent stuff in an other property file and
put a note in a README file ?

I could remove them so we have to provide them e.g. through the command-line. But do you plan to run the VFS tests? You need a special setup with lot of services installed and enabled. There is a vmware image with all this stuff setup in an linux environment.

If you do not run these tests, you can simply ignore the properties.
