There hasn't been much activity on this over the last month or so. After
Brett had put together a starting framework in the sandbox, I used his
example and was fairly successful in converting the site build of
commons-id from Maven 1 to Maven 2.
About three weeks ago I did a little digging into commons-proper to see
what Maven 1 plugins we are using. I just put the results up on the wiki
http://wiki.apache.org/jakarta-commons/MavenPlugins
As you can see from that page, most of the plugins are yet unreleased.
The most important one though, the site-plugin, is nearing completion.
If we decide to start a move from Maven 1 to Maven 2 for the site
generation, I'd be happy to help with this.
