I mustn't use cache because I have frequent changes on my ftp, and I'm always cleaning the cache (performances leaks ?) and it may cause some bugs in my software if I forget to clean it somewhere... in getParent, Can't you test the equality of the .getName().getPath() instead of the equality of the instances ?
