I just tried the links in the original email (the full ones - not the ones that were removed which just ended with IssueNavigator.jspa), and got the correct results for DBCP each time.

ie: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?reset=true&pid=12310469&sorter/field=issuekey&sorter/order=DESC&status=1&status=4

While JIRA does have an unnatural obsession with using the session to
store stuff, you can definitely do this. You may just have the incorrect
pid - but otherwise it looks ok.

I don't understand. When I have tried this, and just now when I tried
the link that Niall added below, I ended up landing in a different
project.

I generally use the "XML" (ie, RSS) link on the filter I want to
construct the correct URL (and just remove view=rss and decorator=none).

Can you provide an example that will correctly link to all open bugs
for a project?

Thanks!

Phil
