Dan has contributed to getting the XmlSchema component completed and is already participating in various other Apache projects including ServiceMix. He is the developer of the XFire SOAP engine (yes a competitor!) (which is presumably where he's using XmlSchema).
I have no doubt he will be an outstanding contributor to this component and I hope to get him more engaged in ASF WS efforts through this small first step. Here's my vote: +1. Sanjiva.
