Dennis is this the proposal you are referring to : http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=axis-dev&m=114367541719948&w=2. I can not see any proposal which has OMDataSource (http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=axis-dev&w=2&r=1&s=OMDataSource&q=b).
Anyway, I personally prefer if we do not do major surgery to OM at this time. I put up a RC on 7th this month and waiting for people to test. And I'm expecting to release Axiom 1.0 during next week. Does this change, a must do one or a major problem in Axiom that we should do b4 1.0. If no, lets put this after 1.0. A kind and humble request. These days, I'm fixing all the problems in OMTutorial. In doing so, I may fix small issues, if any.
