Fair enough. As to the documentation update, I believe we should wait until 3.0 API 
freeze (beta 1). It's kind of pointless to start documenting stuff that has not gone 
through alpha testing (read, I am too lazy to update documentation twice ;-)).

Please also update the Authentication Guide on the website and optionally
inculde and example. I am saying this because this functionality is now somewhat
hard to find for the users.
