Military history WikiProject. Of their sub projects
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Military_history/Maritime_warfare_task_force/Operation_Majestic_Titan
would probably have a significant interest.

At the present time British Military history tends to be illustrated
by museum pics, stuff from the German archives, stuff from the US,
very low res pics acquired from the IWM websites and rescans of images
from the IWM published by third parties.

On the other hand from what I recall of dealing with the IWM way back
they like to charge big time.
