I don't know, but a couple of ideas spring to mind: * A good list to ask on would be mediawiki-l, which is the mailing list for users of the software * The forum at http://mwusers.com (MediaWiki Users) - not WMF linked, but apparently useful to many * Enter "php tutorial" into Google for any number of PHP tutorials.
