Eusebius, The translation begun 1 month ago. For one month anyone could go there and translate the pages to his language, (for example the pt version - made by me - was created in 31 March<http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Picture_of_the_Year/2010/pt&action=history>. French people had one month to translate everything, and according with this page<http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Picture_of_the_Year/2010/Translations>, they did. If something don't got translated is not because they didn't had time.
