The part of the manual to look through is at
<http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API:Usercontribs>, I think.

Here is an example showing Russavia's last 500 edits, the xml shows
you where to continue listing to find the next 500 and so forth. You
can query a maximum of 500 edits unless you are using a registered bot
account. In this example, items listed with a flag 'new=""' are new
files uploaded and you could filter and create a report on this basis
just showing new files.

http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=usercontribs&ucuser=Russavia&uclimit=500&ucdir=older&ucnamespace=6&ucprop=flags|title|timestamp&ucshow=!minor

Maybe there's an easier query, but this would be my quick hack.
