We think a separate multimedia list dedicated to product development makes sense, so we don't spam everyone on the commons list with every little technical detail related our team's work. : ) But I like your suggestion to cross-post messages of interest to both multimedia and commons, so that everyone is in the loop on our overall progress. Keep in mind that we are just now forming this new team, so we will not have a lot to share in coming weeks, but expect more activity starting next month.
