It already has support for comparing xml strings, and input streams. Upon failures, it gives meaningful descriptions of comparison failures.
Sounds good to me. We've already got HTML parsing, XML parsing, XSLT, XPath and validation of XML via JARV & MSV to test XML against DTDs, XML Schema, RelaxNG etc. Being able to compare blocks of XML as well sounds great. Maybe its time for an XMLUnit tag library for Jelly? > Did I hear somebody is going to create the patch? I'll happily commit it if someone fancies having a go at this.
