Sorry for the confusion.
What I mean is that I want to validate all the parameters of the request
object
in the servlet.
For example, I want to get the string tmp which is obtained in the
following way.
String tmp = request.getParameter("Name");
Can it be done using Validator?
Thanks again.

I guess I still don't understand. What do you mean by "obtained directly
from a html form"? Are you talking about client-side or server-side
validation? An HTML form is a browser entity - there is no natural
server-side equivalent. What object are you trying to validate?
