Wow, I find this really useful thank you! The overview and the 'activity status' are helpful to me.
I'm sure there are various measures of what is LIVE and what is COMA -- and I'm sure you'll get a lot of feedback on that. Without even looking at archives, I'm sure there has been lots of debate over such measures & their worth/subjectivity/etc. Activity is no measure of quality/stability, but it is a nice fact to know up front (that and, IMHO, number of active committers). Personally, I've used projects that I later wished I hadn't 'cos they were less mature and more stagnant than I'd hoped/expected. Basically, consider me scarred ... and very glad to get such insightful information. IMHO, subjective or not, it is better than none.
