Oh, I think I get it now - I was thrown off by the "Due to be removed in v4.0" - thought the whole impl was going to be thrown out.

Actually I can see how that could be a bit confusing. I'd prefer if the deprecated classes had [EMAIL PROTECTED] to their replacements -- but seeing as how [collections] has about a billion deprecated classes I don't think it's worth anyone's effort to make such a change.
