dbcp methods not found

Under the examples for commons-dbcp project,

In ManualPoolingDriverExample.java, 
there are references to PoolingDriver.closePool() and
PoolingDriver.getConnectionPool.

Both these methods are not available.

I am using commons-dbcp-1.1,
           commons-pool-1.1,
           commons-collections-3.0.

How to resolve this, Please.
