I know they have a proprietary pool system but I am trying to connect Mckoi database (www.mckoi.com) to Sun Application Server 8.0 PE of J2EE 1.4 and the connection pool just don't work, contrary to Commons-DBCP that works ok!
What kind of problem are you having? For sure Commons-DBCP will works
except it is not advisable to use a custom pool because transactions
might not work properly.
