The Commons EMAIL package is a great implementation of standard SMTP stuff, but, I noticed that it isn't ready for prime time yet.
What is holding back this release ? I read some of the README docs on CVS for this project, but couldn't identify anything that indicated "what" exactly needed to be done, or, "why" it isn't ready for production yet. Any insight would be great !
