[NET] Files to be filtered and listed by date

Hi,

       I need to download files only for a specific date file from the 
ftp server. Since my ftp folder has all the older files which gives java 
out of memory error while listing all the files. to avoid this I need to 
list the files only for a specific date. Is this possible . So  I need 
to know how can filter the files based on the time created an list only 
those files from the ftp.
