I can say that if the investigation needs more than $15,000 in resources to 
come to a conclusion, there is good reason for it to be explained to the board 
before such expenditures are made.

This may be a limit to my imagination, but I’m unable to come up with any 
reason such an investigation should cost more than about $5,000.
