Dear colleagues,
You are invited to AFRINIC's Internet Measurements Workshop scheduled to take
place at Africa Internet Summit (AIS) 2019
<https://www.internetsummit.africa/en/agenda/programme> in Kampala, Uganda. The
two-day workshop will hold in the Lake Room, Sheraton Kampala Hotel, on 15th
and 16th of June 2019 between 09:00 and 17:30. The workshop aims to provide
participants with hands-on training on tools and techniques for conducting
large-scale/distributed Internet measurements.
The hands-on training will focus on Ripe Atlas and MLAB platforms, and will be
facilitated by researchers and engineers from AFRINIC, RIPE NCC, and
Measurement Lab (MLAB).
There will also be presentations and discussions on status of Internet
measurement in Africa as well talks related to Censorship, web and mobile
broadband measurements. The workshop will provide opportunities to discuss and
establish collaborations around Internet measurements research in Africa.
