Dear Colleagues, The AFRINIC Board of Directors invites all interested community members to a webinar on Monday, 26 August 2019 from 09:00am-10:00am UTC. The webinar will discuss a number of issues.
First, the webinar is a follow-up on the Town Hall/Board Community Engagement session held on 20 June 2019 during the Africa Internet Summit 2019 in Kampala, Uganda. The webinar will allow those not in Kampala and others to share with the Board their views on challenges facing AFRINIC. This will also give them an opportunity to make suggestions on how the challenges should and can be handled and resolved. In addition, the Board will use the webinar to respond to some issues raised in Kampala. Of particular interest are issues relating to the improvement of AFRINIC as an organisation, and how the Board interacts with the AFRINIC community. The Board will further consult the Community at Large on the contents of the next Strategic Plan. Le webinaire fait suite à la séance d'engagement communautaire du conseil d'administration qui s'est tenue le 20 juin 2019 lors du Sommet africain de l'Internet 2019 à Kampala, en Ouganda. Le webinaire permettra aux personnes qui n’étaient pas présents à Kampala et à d’autres personnes de faire part au Conseil d’administration de leurs points de vue sur les défis auxquels AFRINIC est confrontée.
