I am already being forced to sign up with this or that commercial company on a daily basis, just to accomplish simple tasks. And those companies then see fit to monetize *my* personal information. There is no excuse for AFRINIC to force people to create accounts with third-party commercial companies just in order to be able to comment on AFRINIC policy matters.
