Dear Paul, I am surprised by this. Why would you think it is in anyone's interest for AFRINIC to close shop. I can't imagine that. AFRINIC has come to stay like any of the other RIRs. Mistakes might have been made who knows ? but am sure it's not the end of the world. Things can still be corrected and we end up with a win-win.
