I am a student in my final year at RGU Scotland and my project supervisor has suggested using Turbine. The problem I face is that the Turbine homepage suggests it's a tool for advanced java developers, and I guess I am far away from that status. I have downloaded the tdk2.2 and successfully configured the sample app and have a pretty good understanding of how turbine/torque/velocity/tomcat etc all interact and making good head way into altering the sample app dbase to my own. Anyway, I don 't really want to upset the community by inappropriate questions to the user mailing list, and thought that maybe other students out there maybe up for collaboration. I have mailed questions which on the whole have been well received and answered by the community, but in the next coming months I don't wont to be considered a pest, but am taking time to make sure I check all HowTo's and archived discussions before my postings.
