I haven't followed the java related debate here much, but I am interested in the issue of "3rd party package pushing" myself, from the point of the Tcl comunity.
It's hypothetical at this stage, but we might like to distribute Tcl related Free Software packages from tcl.apache.org, including that which is GPL or LGPL. Thankyou, -- David N.
