For webapps, we have a combo used in Maven of:

a) JMeter ( http://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/ )
and
b) Latka ( http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/latka )

- Using JMeter's proxy server you can record a web 'session' .
- The Maven Latka plugin can then convert the JMeter output to a latka
test case
- The Maven Latka plugin can the run those generated test cases.

See http://maven.apache.org/reference/plugins/latka/ for more detail.
