In case anyone else here is as disheartened as I am by YouTube's policy of not allowing offline downloads of the videos they host, you can find straight-download copies of the two videos in question here: ftp://ftp.freecalypso.org/pub/copywrong/Nina_Paley/ I actually emailed Nina and asked her why she posted the video of her TEDx talk (Copyright is Brain Damage) on YouTube instead of a site that explicitly allows offline downloading, and she told me that this particular video was posted by TED, not her, that she made no decisions about its hosting and that she didn't have an offline copy. She agreed with me about the choice of video hosts, and encouraged me to pull her video off YouTube and repost it elsewhere - so I did just that. :) M~ _______________________________________________ Community mailing list [email protected] https://www.freecalypso.org/mailman/listinfo/community
