You can take a look at the primagis buildout at

http://trac.gispython.org/projects/PrimaGIS/browser/primagis.buildout/branches/zc.buildout/buildout.cfg

As you can see the buildout configuration is fairly involved and in
turn depends on other buildouts. I haven't used the Unified Installer
myself, so I can't comment on how easy it would be to integrate it
with primagis. In any case, since the primagis buildout already
includes plone itself, you would need to modify it a bit.

I haven't tried the buildout nor PrimaGIS with a recent 3.1.x version
of Plone, but I guess it should work as well as with 3.0.x. If you
wish to give it a go I can help you if you come across any problems.
You should also be aware that the primagis development version is not
a polished release, so there might be some bugs / missing features /
lacking documentation lurking there.
