Dear Geo-Pythonistas, do you know any library or Python package which can perform lat/lon based calculations?
Specifically, I am looking to find a way to get the time zone for an arbitray pair of coordinates. There are some webservices which can provide such information (e.g. Geonames) but do all require that the script has online access to these services. Do you know of any attemt to achive this without querying a webservice? Thanks in adavance and kind regards!
