I'm doing a git-svn clone of the Rtree trunk as I type this in anticipation of helping work toward the next release. Anybody else interested in trying to collaborate via GitHub? We would, of course, continue to push code to the Rtree svn via git-svn dcommit. I don't have a strong preference for GitHub over Bitbucket, it's just that I find git-svn useful for working with an established svn repository.
