Hello, We can still have an application that simply reads GPS data from the phone and hits the Google Maps website with it, right? The site accepts long/lat. coordinates, and even has a satellite view mode (though the quality isn't as high as in Google Earth).

Slashdot ran yesterday a story about this: http://yro.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/11/25/225256 http://gaia.serezhkin.com/ Basically the same goes for map data. You may have a look into openstreetmap.org. You may ask Sean about availability of maps for the Neo1973 (a quick search in the ML-archives gives no hits). Hope that helps.
