Not every Neo1973 user would have GPRS 24/24h on, so even between Neo1973 to Neo1973 could SMS make sence. But wait when your friend has you in his "friend-list" you could make his Neo1973 swith GPRS on by doing a data-call to him - the fist datacall inbetween 5 minutes periode will let the other Neo1973 to reject the incomming call and to switch on GPRS. Then a Jabber P2P session Neo2Neo via VPN would be possible.
