It looks to me like the Neo's screen resolution is higher even though it's a
small screen.

Screen 3.5" 320x480 at 160 ppi, multi-touch 2.8" 480x640 at 285 ppi, maybe
multi-touch
later<http://lists.openmoko.org/pipermail/community/2006-December/000576.html>NEO
specs on the right.

As I understand it, the IPHONE isn't meant to be used with a stylus, but the
NEO optionally can be. Personally I'd rather have the higher resolution.
If they would potentially switch to this other screen, would they be
sacrificing the resolution, and if so would it be worth it?

I was doing some size comparisons and it raised a question.

People at FIC are probably sick and tired of being compared to the
iPhone, but it is quite the competition when it comes to hardware.
For example, http://www.sizeasy.com/page/comp/971 is a comparison
between the iPhone and its screen against the Neo1973 and its screen.
As you can see, the percentage of the face occupied by the screen is
significantly more on the iPhone...

I got the size of the Neo1973's screen from
http://www.tpo.biz/ENG/business-eng/Activer-Matrix-VGA.htm It is
there that I noticed another screen: the TD035STEE1. As you can see
here, http://www.sizeasy.com/page/comp/972 it is the exact same size
as the iPhone's screen. Is that screen compatible with the rest of
the Neo1973 hardware? What would have to be changed to support that
bigger screen? Could it be a after-market mod?

I'm not a hardware guy and most of the acronyms on that TPO site mean
nothing to me, so type slowly.
