I am not sure if this idea is already described. When you have a conversation with another OpenMoko user you may want to transfer some data. It may be a business card or an URL or something similar.
My idea is to have the smartphone send a synchronizing sound and then do the data transfer. During the transfer the voice quality will be degraded or completely missing. After the data transfer the call will continue normally. When the receiving smartphone gets the synchronizing sound it will present to the recipient: "The caller want to transfer 'foo'. It will take approx 20 seconds to transfer. Do you want to accept?"
