Hi, I would like to do Mapping Application for Openmoko as my Summer of code Project. Can someone please be my mentor on this project and provide some comments and details about this project.

Also I have downloaded the source and tried some examples. I think this project can change the world of smart phones. And I am interesting in doing openmoko based project for Google Summer of Code Competition. I looked at the project ideas in the wiki and I am interested in Mapping Application, To-do list and sync with calender, mail etc. I have previous experience with open source development in Apache Axis2/C project and also a Apache committer for Web Services project. And I have experience in WSDL to C code generation with data binding, Java Script UI development, Perl, Axis2/C Web Services engine, XML Technologies and GTK+. So I am really pleased if some one can suggest the project which suits to me according to my past experience or any ideas about web services integration to openmoko platform. Also me and three of my friends hope to do our final year project based on openmoko platform.
